Eaton, a power management company, has announced the launch of three new power take-off (PTO) applications and hydraulic control valves at the Work Truck Show 2024, the largest work truck event in North America. The new products are designed to offer more mobile power solutions for the latest automated and automatic transmissions, as well as more versatility and efficiency for various commercial vehicle applications.
The new PTOs are the Bezares 3960, 2500, and 500 series, which are compatible with different types of transmissions from Ford, Paccar, and Eaton Cummins. The Bezares 3960 series PTO fits the unique design of the Ford Super Duty TorqShift 10-speed automatic transmission, and features a robust low-profile housing that minimizes vehicle interference and allows for quicker and easier installation. The Bezares 2500 series PTO is optimized for product pumping applications, such as fuels, solvents, and resins, and is compatible with Eaton Cummins’ Endurant HD ™, Endurant XD ™ and Endurant XD Pro ™ series transmissions. The Bezares 500 series PTO is a hot-shift, 8-bolt, 2-gear PTO that fits Paccar TX-8 and ZF 8AP automatic transmissions, and features quick, pneumatic shifting and a low profile designed for a better fit.
The new hydraulic control valves are the APSCO APV and APG series, which are offered by APSCO, an Eaton distribution partner. These valves are complementary, versatile, and have a large installed base. They can help Eaton distributors with replacement parts and new installs, and offer customers a more complete shopping experience from Eaton. The APSCO APV series are air pilot valves that can be used to control hydraulic pumps, cylinders, and other devices. The APSCO APG series are air power take-off shifters that can be used to engage and disengage PTOs.
Brad Gulick, commercial product manager of Eaton’s Mobility Group, said, “These new PTOs and hydraulic control valves provide our customers with even more mobile power solutions for the latest automated and automatic transmissions, all from the same trusted source. Our expertise in managing power and the extensive PTO knowledge of our partner Bezares USA allows us to deliver new products and solutions that make it easier for our customers to do their work.”
The new products will be introduced at the Work Truck Show 2024, which runs from March 5 to 8 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. The Work Truck Show is the must-attend event for the work truck industry, providing commercial vehicle industry professionals with unmatched opportunities to explore the latest trucks, equipment, and trends; learn new ideas and solutions that can impact their operations; and connect with the people and companies they need to thrive.
